Iced Matcha Latte (Easy Superlatte Recipe)
Share
Iced matcha is one of the most popular ways to drink matcha, and this creamy iced superlatte takes about five minutes.
A little hot water dissolves the powder first, so it pours smoothly over ice and cold milk without clumps.
Prep: 5 min · Makes: 1 glass
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp (about 10g) Mind Full Matcha
- 2 tbsp hot water (about 80°C, to dissolve)
- 250ml cold milk of choice
- A handful of ice
- Optional: 1 tsp maple syrup or vanilla
Each drink uses one 10g serving of Mind Full Matcha: 40mg of caffeine, and 50kcal with 0.8g of sugars before milk and sweetener. The blend contains oats.
Method
- Make the paste. Whisk the Mind Full Matcha with the 2 tbsp hot water into a smooth, lump-free paste.
- Ice. Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Milk. Pour over the cold milk.
- Layer. Pour the matcha paste over the top for a layered effect, then stir before drinking.

Tips for the best result
- Dissolve the matcha in warm water first: cold water clumps.
- Use plenty of ice so it stays cold to the last sip.
- Pour the paste slowly for pretty layers.
Variations
- Shaken: shake the paste, milk and ice in a sealed jar for a frothy top.
- Vanilla: a drop of vanilla or a little maple syrup.
- Fruity: add mashed strawberries or blueberry compote at the bottom.
Make ahead and storage
